The General Manager of the South African Railways and Harbours presented an Annual Report to Parliament, starting with Unification in 1910. All the Annual Reports from 1910 to 1972 follow. The reports are labelled according to the last month of the reporting period. The end of the Government’s financial year changed from December to March during 1917 which also changed the reporting period. The report of December 1916 is therefore followed by the report of March 1918.
