The Kwazulu-Natal branch of the Railway Society of South Africa’s history group started a newsletter called the KZN Railway History Society Chronicle in November 2003, coming out irregularly, initially under the editorship of Michael Cottrell. Two decades and two editors later it appears approximately quarterly, on dates tied to the RSSA meetings in January, April, July and October. By arrangement with the society, the most recent 12 months’ issues are restricted to members. Although there is emphasis on railway history in KZN, material from anywhere may appear here.
