The General Manager's Bulletin #1 was first published in January 1920 "as a means of disseminating information of public interest as affecting railway and harbour operations.". Up to 1925, there appeared more than 12 bulletins per year, but from Bulletin #101 in January 1926, it appeared every month up to the last Bulletin #340 in October 1947. Due to the exigencies of World War Two, there were no bulletins from June 1942 to December 1943. Most of the bulletins were reprinted in the SAR&H Magazine (elsewhere on the DRISA Documents website) so there is some overlap between the two collections. The full General Manager's Bulletin Collection runs to about 6200 individual pages and is complete, except for most cover pages..
